The following two folders in the main directory should definitely be excluded from the automatic scan of the anti-virus programme in order not to overload the processor with continuous, unnecessary scans of this data and to protect users from performance losses of PC CADDIE:

• DATA
• INDEX

In addition, the complete local programme directory, e.g. C:\PCCADDIE, should be added in full to the exceptions.

You can determine where the local directory is located in PC CADDIE using the macro verify check with the macro.

At PC CADDIE, we have had good experiences with the ESET anti-virus software.
