The data directory of the old server (main computer) must be copied completely. The database must not be accessed during the copying process.. All running PC CADDIE instances must be terminated, including any PC CADDIE services on the server. It is best to name the folder \DATA folder in the PC CADDIE share to ensure that the database is not accessed. Please note that the intranet login will be deleted at the request of the German Golf Association.

In the following description we use the abbreviation ADS for the Advantage Database Server . Please check now on the old server via macro ads whether an ADS server is installed.
